Meeting between Dr Stuart Rochester and dr Carl Martin
Dr Carl Martin has begun to work on his PhD with Greenwich School of Theology, after an unfortunate experience with another institution, and is finding the experience both refreshing and hope-inducing. Carl is a mature-age American who has been studying in the UK for several years, while utilizing his DMin skills as an interim pastor in a multi-ethnic London church. GST has appointed Dr Stuart Rochester, a New Testament scholar, as his promoter. Recently they were both spending time at the research library of Tyndale House, Cambridge, and so they were able to meet and interact in person to discuss the progress of Carl’s thesis. Carl says, “I am grateful for the fresh opportunity that GST has given me. I am discovering that GST has already anticipated many questions that I had asked of other institutions but received no help in resolving. The guidance that GST has given, and its “you can get this done” attitude, have been most helpful.” Carl and Stuart are confident that this constructive relationship will continue to grow and result in another successfully completed PhD.
